Coaching
Kelly Stinnett Baseball was established to provide young baseball players mental, physical, and visual training needed to compete at a high level. We offer an indoor cage 60` X 15` inside of a 12,000 square foot facility helping players to condition their swing. The toughest thing is to find not only a nice cool place to hit, but have the expertise to help one improve their hitting ability.
We show players how to strengthen their core, which connects the legs with the upper body, but also to help develop bat speed which allows players to wait as long as you can then explode through the ball. Within the facility we have the ability to train the vision. Depth perception is a really important component to picking up the spin on the ball, i.e. curve, fast, change, etc. One advantage professional baseball players have is the ability to take batting practice every day. Conditioning your swing helps the overall improvement to have success in game situation. That’s why KSBB gives players the chance to hit multiple times a week.
In addition we have an indoor fiberglass mound to help pitchers work on their game. Catching all stars, 300 game winners, and future hall of famers Kelly can work to help improve a pitchers mechanics and mental training. When it comes to catching, Gene Autry Baseball Complex is right down the road and with enough notice we can set up any kind of catching or baseball training that might be needed. Since Kelly Stinnett ended with playing day in Sept. of “07”, he has dedicated many hours developing young players in both baseball and football.
Kelly coached the 4 Peaks 9/10 All Star team to the Arizona Little League State Tournament the past 2 years. He also established Grinders, a 14 U travel team, that finished the 2008/2009 season in the top 10 at the AAA level. The purpose of Grinders is to give each kid the advantage to make his Jr. High or High school team. Stay tuned as Grinders is developing different age levels for the up coming travel seasons.
